My name is Jackie. I was born and raised in NYC and have always had a passion for helping others and showing my creativity in various ways. When I was younger I loved expressing it through my writing and my singing. When I was in my preteens, Youtube was up and coming, and I would spend hours watching youtube creators videos and wished I had the courage to share and make my own videos. I didn’t at the time, and found myself just admiring from the other side of the screen. When the pandemic hit, my friends were mentioning the app Tiktok, and how people were using it to post dancing videos. It caught my attention and so I would make videos with them and eventually created my own account. It started off as that, and then I ventured into creating videos with sounds I felt were creative, relatable, or comical. I use it mainly as a platform for my thoughts, experiences, and relatable content. Sometimes I also share my love of beauty/wellness on there as well. I love having an app that is so accessible to so many people all over the world and being able to record, edit, and post your own content so easily. Although I don’t have a large audience, the simple fact that I can do what I had wanted to do since I was younger, is really great. The people that I have connected with on there have been so kind and supportive and I hope to always post what I love or feel like sharing with the world.
